Cruz Reynoso Exhibit Project
- The Marchand Public Engagement Initiative supported an exhibit focused on the life and legacy of the first Latino Associate Justice of the California Supreme Court. The project educated viewers about the Mexican-American social experience in the twentieth century and demonstrated how these experiences spurred political action. Additionally, the Marchand Intern leading this project received funding from the Office of Academic Diversity to hire undergraduates who assisted with the creation of an accompanying digital exhibit. The project also produced K-12 curricula that utilize primary sources from Justice Reynoso's papers.
