Comparing Genocide: Law, Languuage, and Classroom Pracice
Join us for a virtual scholar talk series on comparative genocide focused on how laws and decrees are used to dehumanize groups of people that can lead to genocide. Scholars will provide critical background and guidance in teaching about genocides in Cambodia, Rwanda, the United States, and the Holocaust. To support the implementation in the classroom, educators will provide guidance for writing and inquiry strategies that support classroom instruction.
