Calling all TK-6th grade teachers!

You are invited to join a Yolo County Youth Civics Initiative Summit! Hosted in partnership with the Yolo County Office of Education, California History-Social Science Project, California Reading and Literature Project, and the Area 3 Writing Project, this Summit will provide teachers with the most up-to-date resources and information about civics education in California.

Teachers will receive:

• Picture books
• Grade-level specific lesson plans integrating civics with other subject areas
• Opportunities to connect with local community organizations
• Time for collaboration
• Light breakfast and lunch

The summit will be held on July 8th-10th from 9:00am-3:00pm (ending at 11:30am on day three) at the Yolo County Office of Education in Woodland, CA.
