The UCBHSSP is excited to invite you to our Third Annual Summer Institute for educators who support Newcomers and Multi-Language Learners in their classrooms.
On June 23rd - 25th 2026 we will convene at UC Berkeley’s Dwinelle Hall to discuss how to modify content to meet the needs of language learner students across multiple fields of study. Over the course of three days we will deconstruct materials from a lesson planned for next year in order to prepare for implementation. Teachers will walk away with a model lesson that supports language learner students, and a framework for modifications that can be applied to different content.
