UC Berkeley History-Social Science Project's Spring 2026 Newcomer Content Modification Workshop

Event Description: The UCBHSSP is excited to offer a workshop for educators who support Newcomers and Multi-Language Learners in their classrooms.

On Saturday, February 28th 2026 we will convene to discuss how to use the Content Modification Protocol that UCBHSSP has developed to support language learner students across multiple fields of study. Teachers are encouraged to bring materials from an upcoming lesson in order to plan for implementation! We also plan to host a virtual follow-up session to see how the process worked.
