The UCBHSSP is excited to offer a free virtual workshop on Claim-Evidence-Reasoning (CER) for K-12 history educators. We'll explore how the CER framework can structure both close reading of primary sources and student writing, sharing practical strategies, sentence scaffolds, and sample lessons for building evidence-based historical arguments in your classroom. Educators will leave with resources ready to use in their next unit.

This workshop will be led by Phyllis Goldsmith.
