Teachers Helping Teachers

created Dec 08, 2017 01:12 PM

In response to the terrible fires that devastated parts of Napa and Sonoma Counties this fall, the California Subject Matter Projects (CSMP) are hosting a one-day professional learning and resource fair for teachers of these two counties on Saturday, February 3 at Sonoma State.  The extended CSMP family is coming together to support our friends and colleagues in Sonoma and Napa counties in two important ways:

  • Helping to Rebuild Classroom Collections.  CSMP leadership is currently seeking gift cards, books, and other instructional resources to help rebuild classroom libraries destroyed by the fires.  To see a list of needed items or to donate, click here.
  • Hosting a Professional Support and Resource Fair.  On February 3, 2018, CSMP will host a free professional development fair for teachers of Napa and Sonoma County.

We are looking for donations of gift cards for local teachers, as well as books and other instructional resources.  To learn more or to donate, click here.
