We're excited to announce that Steven W. Hackel will serve as Keynote Speaker at our next History-Social Science Framework Conference, scheduled for the Riverside Convention Center on February 5, 2020.  A professor of history at UC Riverside, Hackel's research specializes on the Spanish Borderlands, the American West, colonial California, and California Indians. He is especially interested in Native responses to colonialism, the effects of disease on colonial encounters, and new ways of visualizing these processes through digital history.

Don't miss this exciting opportunity to hear from a leading historian, network with state and local history-social science leaders, and check out our new line-up of exciting workshops!
